Memory:
The location of the Regional Archives in Santa Coloma de Farners is unique: it is situated on a plot in the historic center of town. It is, by definition, a building as a opaque bunker preserving the documents of memory of the region of La Selva. The document store is located at the upper floors leaving life on the ground floor of the building. The large opaque façade, finished with curved ceramic pieces, fits to the texture of the Old Town by subtle variations in size, color and texture.
