Quién Manda

Recording a lipsync to the song “Quién manda” by La Mala Rodríguez for the eponymous music video. A reflection on the power of people and of hope.

The action takes place at dawn on an escalator in a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Barcelona, near Can Zam in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Finally, we shot in the La Trinitat Nova metro station.

Initially, each verse was going to be a scene, seven in total. However, over the course of filming, we decided on a sequence shot. The video puts a positive spin on the place, filming La Mala moving up the escalator (down to up) at dawn (from night to day).
