Leve Projects

The team of architects Leve Projects has already presented the basic and executive project of the Low Exigency Center for homeless people promoted by the Consell de Mallorca in Maó. It will have a total of 15 places and the forecast is to open next year. The service will be open 24h and will have an accompaniment service with professionals and volunteers from the third sector specialized in homeless people. The building has 200 square meters and has an interior space for a maximum of 15 people to sleep, a courtyard, hairdressing service, showers, toilets, lockers and washing machines, as well as a kitchen, storage and staff rest area. There will also be a Mobile Social Emergency Unit service.

 

Another in Ciutadella
The insular councilor of Vivencia, Cristina Gómez, considers this center to be the residential solution for people living on the street or in space such as caves or dilapidated houses. “In the medium term it will also be necessary a second center in Ciudadella! She adds.
